Mit einen gro├čen Dank an Kapow Toys haben wir zu Maketoys Giant Set B Crane und Dump Truck weitere Bilder und ein Review in englisch f├╝r euch!

Maketoys Giant Set B Crane & Dump Truck:

Set B has arrived and its better than set A! The first thing you notice about these guys is how much bigger they are compared to the Bulldozer and Excavator figures, they also weigh a lot more.

Firt up Dump Truck, in vehicle mode he picks up like a little plastic brick and looks very nice. The rear bucket is not very deep and is used to store the pile driver weapons, you can also see a the leg connectors hanging out of the back which does not bother me but may annoy some. Upon transforming him you will be met with how tight the front panels of the Dump Truck are so use a lot of care when moving them, there have been a lot of reports of them snapping due to too much pressure being applied so if in doubt check the Maketoys website for the easy fix. Once in robot mode he is a beast of a bot with huge hulking arms and fists, he can also be posed easily thanks to ball jointed feet. You have a choice of weapons being able to pick from his bog standard rifle to the 2 pile drivers which are worn behind his upper arm.

Next up Crane, this guy is a first in that he has a head for a foot! that's right, the lump on the front of his right foot is the Giants head and its stored away pretty well. Vehicle mode is nice and about as good as a mobile crane can get, the arm extends but the hook does not swing which I think would have been a nice touch. The detailing is good reminding me a lot of the old Caterpillar models of old.
In robot mode we modded the crane arm simply by removing the screw, this gives it a better range of motion and means he doesn't have to carry it in front of him all the time like a rifle. Something that surprised me was the fact that Crane is not a lot smaller than the TFC Toys Dr Crank figure.

Combined with my existing set A this has given me a glimpse of the completed figure and it is going to be great, its a nice tight package and will look great next to the official Transformers figures of new such as Generations, Classics and Universe.

Overall Set B Scores 8/10

Would prefer to see ol' King Grimmy to put up more vid reviews, but what can you do?

And knowing that Crane's foot is actually the head of Giant, I always look at it like it's a goddamn car accident. Don't like it at all.

Hier ist von Kapow Toys die Review mit Bildern zu Takaratomy Transformers Prime AM-04 Ratchet.

amrt9 amrt1 amrt2 amrt3 amrt4 amrt5 amrt6 amrt7 amrt8

Transformers Prime AM-04 Ratchet with Arms Micron:

I have had this guy for a few weeks and was really not looking forward to putting the stickers on him, I am however totally glad I did, he looks pretty wicked when finished. Sure its a bit of a hassle but I prefer the end result to my RID Ratchet, the deeper red is more like the show and there is a lot more detail on the ambulance. Articulation wise Ratchet is fantastic with shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, hip and foot joints and a waist swivel. The arms Micron partner reminds me a lot of the Final Fantasy gunblades which is a good thing and it can be mounted on the side of Ratchets forearm or simply in his hand, its robot mode however is a little funky when compared to say Bumblebees Micron and not really my cup of tea.

Overall Ratchet scores 8/10

Not to keen on that version. Why did the had mold the ports in the same color as the Micron's? They did not on Optimus, Bumblebee or Soundwave.

Why are we writing in english?

I don┬┤t like the way it looks in altmode. Edges at the hood close to the windshield look crunched, torn and not smooth.

Sind tolle Bilder also viel Spa├č damit!

sgjunk19 sgjunk1 sgjunk2 sgjunk3 sgjunk4 sgjunk5 sgjunk6 sgjunk7 sgjunk8 sgjunk9 sgjunk10 sgjunk11 sgjunk12 sgjunk13 sgjunk14 sgjunk15 sgjunk16 sgjunk17 sgjunk18

Botcon 2012 Shattered Glass Junkons:

Wreck Gar goes bad! or should that be worse as the Shattered Glass universe returns to Botcon 2012. This 3 pack is possibly my fave figure from the convention and thats because the figures are based on an awesome mold, that coupled with some fantastic bios ( which I won't ruin here ) make them stand out. The new colour scheme makes you instantly think Insecticon whilst the head sculpts really pop thanks to the new black, yellow and silver paint job. Articulation wise most fans know the junkion mold is great, armed with an axe which can be worn on their back the only thing that could make it better would be a pistol. Bike mode is a very cool scale giving other Generations figures a chance to ride the Junkions and the kick stand allows collectors to display them free standing in bike mode.

Overall I'd score the SG Junkions 9/10 AWESOME!

Very nice reviews, keep up the good work Daumhoch

Shame what Takara has done with AM Ratchet, pure white with crappy stickers and the exclusion of the Hasbro Blade weapons is the biggest let down on him. Sadly the Micron does not cover them, he is way too big to fit and look cool.

The SG Junkions have very nice colors but i never liked this mold all that much. But they would be nice for building a junkion army if they were not so expensive as BotCon figures usually are.

Looking foreward on MakeToys Set C and the complete Giant, love the yellow and all the details on those figures.

Hier ist die n├Ąchste Review von Kapow Toys. Diesmal ist sie ├╝ber den Botcon 2012 Shattered Glass Optimus Prime. Wir w├╝nschen viel Spa├č.

Botcon 2012 Shattered Glass Optimus Prime

Botcon take a bow, you have taken an ordinary figure and spruced it up into something awesome. When RTS Prime was released he kinda polarized opinion with people either liking him or hating him, with a swift change up in paint and an awesome deco I can firmly say this is now one of my fave figures, it looks awesome. First up he is small, but he's perfectly formed the head looks a lot more menacing with those red eyes and the new motto of '' I shall stand, the rest shall fall'' emblazoned on each side of the bonnet sends out the message there will be no prisoners ( on my toy shelf anyway )

Articulation wise most people are familiar with him but in case your not he has a good level with some part hindered by the bulky shoulders and back but nothing major, the transformation into truck can be fiddly but after a few goes you do get the hang of it fairly quickly.

Overall this guy has got to score a 9/10

Hier haben wir die Toy Review von Kapow Toys zum Botcon 2012 Timelines Kick-Over f├╝r euch. Viel Spa├č!

kick3

kick1 kick2 kick3 kick4 kick5 kick6 kick7 kick8 kick9 kick10 kick11 kick12 kick13

Botcon 2012 Timelines Kick-Over

First off what a great mold to repaint, the Jazz figure has always been regarded as one of the best of recent years and Kick-Over kicks it up another notch. The paint job for this guy is truly inspired, it looks amazing and improves the figure no end placing it in my opinion at the top of the pile above, Jazz, Stepper and Treadshot.

The head sculpt is detailed and faithful to the G1 original, his rifle also a nice homage coming in the neon orange. Articulation wise he is fantastic as most already know, packed full of movement and joints he is capable of almost any pose going with nearly zero hindrance from the back panels or doors. The speakers are still intact and located inside the door pods, they an be flipped out for an impromptu party of attached to the gun barrel to make a bigger weapon.

Car mode has always been nice if uninspired, the difference with Kick-Over is the paint once again improves in every aspect, the front end pops that bit more thanks to the red lights contrasting with the black, orange and silver and the rims come with a silver finish instead of the regular black.

Overall Kick-Over scores 10/10 for me this is a near perfect figure and a continues the trend of attendee figures being some of the best in show.

Geht mir genauso, zumindest was Kick-Over angeht Traurig

Great review of an even greater looking figure for Kick-Over. The Jazz mold was my favorite of 2011 and well worth waiting for since 2006 when Classics started. And Kick-Over is right behind him but i doubt that he beats Stepper. At least not in choice of colors, stepper looks so awesome in all that black and white with gold details. But maybe Kick-Over wins the price for the most expensive version over time.

Hier haben wir die Review von Kapow Toys zum TFCC Over-Run Exklusiv. Viel Spa├č!

ov8

ov1 ov2 ov3 ov4 ov5 ov6 ov7 ov8 ov9 ov10 ov11 ov12 ov13 ov14 ov15 ov16 ov17

Transformers Collectors Club Over-Run

Famous for vandalizing the Statue of Liberty Over Run and his bro are known to G1 fans as the Battle Chargers and if we're honest had a couple of pretty lame toys back in the 80's but the Transformers Collectors Club have come their rescue and transformed them into a chunky rocket launcher wielding fully articulated awesomeness!

Available only if your a member of the club Over Run comes in a really well thought out presentation box which also includes a space for his bro. The artwork is superb and the construction super sturdy like all club boxes. The figure itself uses the Generations Wheeljack / RTS Tracks body and works very well, he can rock the shoulder mounted missile look or with a little flip of the doors and rear trunk you can fan mode him up into an even more G1 style robot. Articulation is good with the only minor complaint being the roof gets in the way of the waist swivel but these guys are originally designed for 5 year old's so I would be a bit harsh and silly to dock points or even moan about it.

Car mode for me is what really impresses in that the paint job is spot on, the large Decepticon symbol on the hood really finishes off the amazing black and red detailing, bring that together with a nicely painted front splitter and head lights and your on to a winner.

Finding this guy is not easy unless your willing to drop a fair chunk of change but if your a modern day G1 fan I would say he is worth it, unlikely to ever see a mass release he is sure to hold his value.

We score Over-Run 9/10

Hier haben wir die Review von Kapow Toys zu Transformers Prime Cyberverse Star Hammer & Wheeljack. Viel Spa├č!

sh2

Transformers Prime Cyberverse Star Hammer & Wheeljack

Hasbro continue the goodness with the Cyberverse Star Hammer and Wheeljack, Cyberverse has always been fun but just recently with the Prime line they have been excelling. Kids will love this, its great value at under £20 and you get not only a transforming figure in the shape of Wheeljack but also a vehicle / playset. The ship itself has electronic light features via an attachment shaped like a laser, it can attach itself to Cyberverse weapons and Commander size figures making them glow in the process. There is an opening cockpit in which the figure can sit and 2 sets of handle bars which allow other figures to man the firing rocket launchers when the wings are deployed.

Overall I've got to score this at least a 9/10 - collectors and kids will love it!

Hier kommt die n├Ąchste Toy Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys. Diesmal handelt es sich um TFCC Shattered Glass Drift. Viel Spa├č!

sgdrift1 sgdrift2 sgdrift3 sgdrift4 sgdrift5 sgdrift6 sgdrift7 sgdrift8 sgdrift9 sgdrift10 sgdrift11 sgdrift12 sgdrift13 sgdrift14 sgdrift15

Transformers Collectors Club Shattered Glass Drift

Drift is an enigma, fans either seem to love him or hate as a character, this however is a toy and therefore awesome without question, it is a robot ninja who also now has guns!!! what is not to love ? well not a lot really, I love the original Drift figure and found the only downside to him being the dull off white colour's which have been fixed by the club making him a lovely Deadpool shade of red. He now also comes with what were Blurr's pistols ( they do not fit into the holsters ) as well as his daggers and massive sword. The articulation is very good, his shoulder pads do get in the way some times but its a minor niggle and nothing that detracts from the finished article, the only thing which could have made him even better would have been the sniper rifle but that's just me being a greedy git

Overall Driftpool Scores 9.5/10 - knock off a point if you hate Drift.

Not just you alone, i also think they should have included the sniper rifle, could even have skipped the big sword for it. Then he would have been more perfect. But what can you do except looking for a spare one of Blurr┬┤s rifle.

This years TFCC exclusives were the best so far, at least for me and of course including Punch-Counterpunch.

Keep up the nice work on reviews and those cool pictures Daumhoch

Hier kommen gleich zwei neue Toy Reviews von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys. Diesmal sehen wir Transformers Prime RID Deluxe Dead End und Shadow Strike Bumblebee. Viel Spa├č

deadend1 shadowstrikebee3

deadend1 deadend2 deadend3 deadend4 deadend5 deadend6 deadend7 deadend8 deadend9 deadend10 deadend11 deadend12 deadend13 deadend14 deadend15 deadend16 deadend17 deadendmain shadowstrikebee shadowstrikebee1 shadowstrikebee2 shadowstrikebee3 shadowstrikebee4 shadowstrikebee5 shadowstrikebee6 shadowstrikebee7 shadowstrikebee8 shadowstrikebee9 shadowstrikebee10 shadowstrikebee11 shadowstrikebee12 shadowstrikebee13

Dead End: This guy is the star of Wave 4 without a doubt, his bio makes him sound like a loose cannon and his face screams ''I'm gonna eat cha!'' so whats not to love!

A repaint of the already awesome Wheeljack figure, Dead End looked quite garish in his promo pics and he was met with a kind of ''meh'' feeling from a lot of fans, this my friends is incorrect! he is really quite awesome, the articulation is amaze balls, his paint job is def seafront chav in a Vauxhall Corsa but it works I tell you, WORKS!

There is no point going into too much gushing detail as most people who are into Prime will already have WJ so the thing that will swing it is the head which you can check out via our pics above.

We score tropical fruit Dead End a mighty 9/10

Shadow Strike Bumblebee: Be warned, I'm one of them...............yes, a Bumblebee lover! there I said it! now read my gush or just simply look at the pictures

Shadow Strike Bumblebee is another nice surprise from Wave 4 in that he improves on the original, the grey finish just makes him look far more detailed than the original which was sadly a little bland. He still comes with his 2 x clip on blasters which have flip reversed like Blazing Squad into yellow instead of grey. The head also has a nice amount of grey on it forming a kind of chin strap and ear phones again making Bumble look a lot nicer.

Car mode comes off in person like a slight gun metal / graphite colour and is reminiscent of a street racer. The blasters as expected still clip on the bonnet.

Again most will own the original already...........or not and have been waiting so I recommend out of the 2 you grab this guy on release if you want a Bee in your Prime collection.

Shadow Strike scores 8/10

Hier kommt die Review zu Transformers Prime Cyberverse Ironhide von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys. Viel Spas├č!

cyih1 cyih2 cyih3 cyih4 cyih5 cyih6 cyih7 cyih8 cyih9 cyih10 cyih11 cyih12 cyih13 cyih14 cyih15

Transformers Prime Cyberverse Ironhide

Throughout the ages Ironhide has always been a fan fave but never really gotten the toy love he deserves, well fear not because the Cyberverse figure delivers! As a line Prime has excelled in the Cyberverse category putting out some superb figures which are very faithful to their show counterparts and packed full of articulation, Ironhide is no exception. Featuring a really nice solid earth mode pickup truck you can mount his cannons on the flat bed area to form boosters and free wheel him on most surfaces with a flick of the wrist.

Robot mode is where the real fun is at, standing approx 3-3/4 inches tall Ironhide features multiple point of articulation enabling a variety of poses, his cannons can be mounted in his hands or on the forearm. He has a nice amount of detailing and paint along with a really cool head sculpt which appears to show him grinning.

Overall Ironhide scores a mighty 8/10

Hier haben wir ein neues Review von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys.

Dieses Mal wird TransFormers Prime Shadow Arma Micron Gora rezensiert.

goramain gora1 gora2 gora3 gora4 gora5 gora6 gora7 gora8

TransFormers Prime Shadow Arms Micron Gora

Microns are awesome, they were the saving grace of Armada and now Takara have put them with the already amaze balls Prime line. This little guy is normally Megatrons cohort but has been redone in see through black plastic for a Japanese store exclusive campaign. Transforming from what fans have come to call a Lugnut style robot mode, Gora forms a fusion cannon style weapon with 3 pegs molded into it for attachment to most Micron Arms figures, if your attaching him to Megatron you either need to use the peg hole for shoulder mounting, the flip down handle for hand held or the not great indent to mount it to his forearm. Another use for Gora and the best in my opinion is as a fusion cannon for the RID Voyager Megatron, as you can see from the images it is far more in proportion than his Poweriser weapon and looks a lot more like an actual weapon Megatron would use.

Overall we score Gora 7/10 he's great if combined with an existing figure but just okay if bought and used on his own.

Hier kommt ein Review von Kapow Toys zu Transformers Prime AM-10 Arms Micron Voyager Bulkhead. Viel Spa├č damit!

ambulk15 ambulk1 ambulk2 ambulk3 ambulk4 ambulk5 ambulk6 ambulk7 ambulk8 ambulk9 ambulk10 ambulk11 ambulk12 ambulk13 ambulk14

Transformers Prime AM-10 Bulkhead

When the first images of the RID Bulkhead figure surfaced you could hear the cries ring out across the known universe however shortly after his release people realised he was actually a pretty awesome little dude and worthy of their time, the Arms Micron version is worthy of even more of your time simply because he has an obese wrecking ball buddy along for the ride.

Coming in a different shade of green to the RID version Bulkhead needs his stickers applied ala all Micron figures, now you will either hate this or find it transports you back to those nostalgic 80's when you plastered not only your transformer figure with decals but all the box, inner foam and anything else you could get your hands on. The Micron himself comes on a sprue and is actually all round good fun to assemble, its simple click clunk stuff and does not require any real skill........................hence how I managed to put it together.

Once assembled the Micron transforms into a wrecking ball or blaster both of which are pretty awesome, the 3rd mode however which is supposed to be the robot comes across as robo jabba which I'm lovin I do however expect some people will not. Bulkheads robot mode is full of articulation, its been said by some he is too thin and somewhat resembles a himself prior to the pie abuse, I have to disagree and say his proportions are really good unless your looking side on.

Vehicle mode is the bog standard toon 4x4 and its done well, you can see a little kibble poking out from underneath but nothing that will worry the sheep, the stickers will need to be applied otherwise you will end up with no windows and a very bland looking green car resembling something akin to the Little Tykes Super Coupe! The micron can be mounted on top of the roof making it look like a P.A system used for local elections or on the rear of the truck forming what looks like a booster engine.

Overall Bulkhead scores a bulky 8/10 and over all awesome bot!

Hier haben wir die Toy Review zu Transformers Generations Fall of Cybertron Optimus Prime von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys. Wir w├╝nschen viel Spa├č.

focop1 focop2 focop3 focop4 focop5 focop6 focop7 focop8 focop9 focop10 focop11 focop12 focop13 focop14 focop15 focop16 focop17

Kapow Toys Reviews FOC Optimus Prime

First off yes they have shrunk but I present this argument, the world economy is in the toilet, plastic prices have risen due to the high cost of oil and the cost of living has gone through the roof, something had to give and it appears to be about a quarter of the figure but! they are still roughly the same size as TF Prime figures and DOTM so this its not something new they have sprung on us. In these tough times even the big boys have to protect themselves, chocolate bars have shrunk, there are less potato chips in a bag yet the prices rise, the same rule applies to all no matter how much we dislike it.

On to the toy, some people don't like this design, I love it, I think its a great little action figure if a little weird in the proportions. The transformation is quite basic, something we've seen adopted since DOTM no doubt to entice actual kids back into the hobby after ROTF gate where even parents were stumped using the instructions. He is capable of a lot of poses and is just what you would want from a toy in that he is a pure action figure, two arms, two legs and a gun.

Versus the original there is probably no contest but if you take the rose tinted glasses off and be honest WFC Optimus has his critiques some of which were 1) The Transformation was too hard 2) The legs are a little short 3) His range of motion is not great. Is he bigger and better value? yes of course but if you have only just decided which one to plump for get in there now before prices rise.

The price point will put some off but at the end of the day that's not going to change even if the world does get a little better, once prices rise the very rarely come down, is he worth it ? yes, more so if your a G1 collector seeing as the only things currently on offer are Prime figures or the residual movie toys. What I will add though is this would have totally ruled if it was a Voyager class figure.

Overall Optimus scores 8/10

Transformers Generations Cliffjumper ( Asia Exclusive )

Being totally honest, when these were announced I was totally against it and thought it was a lame idea, then something happened, I got it in hand!

Being a strange chap and not being a fan of the First Edition Cliffjumper figure and preferring the RID version I've readily accepted this guy on his own and don't look at it as an existing toy from another line with a new head although I can totally understand why some of you might. The good things about this figure are the fact it does finally give us a Generations Cliffjumper with good articulation and some weapons, the Classics version never cut it for me and although its improved by the Beelzeboss head (if you managed to get it) you can't beat a Hasbro original.

The alt mode is the standard muscle car with horns we all already know, its a nice smooth car without a mass of sticky out panels or obvious transformation points unless you turn it upside down, kids will love this guy simply because he has a set of bull horns on the bonnet and freewheels nicely on smooth surfaces. Colour wise it is a different shade form the FE going a whole lot darker and more G1 Cliffjumper which is a nice bonus and shows that they didn't just slap new heads on unused figures.

Robot mode is again is very nice, he is short but that's not a problem seeing as he is a minibot but again some people might feel a little short changed. The transformation is very nice and complex enough it takes some effort but not crazy enough you or your kids will be pulling your hair out, the triple cannons are also very easy to flip in and out of the forearms as long as you remember to twist the hands into place before pushing them in. Articulation is great, the arms are highly articulated and capable of mostly everything you want an action figure to do, the legs are okay but due to their narrowness he can sometimes be a pain to stand but that's a minor gripe when you can simply transform him into a car if you want it on display.

Over all Cliffjumper scores a healthy 8/10 , some of you def won't agree but he has really grown on me and will grab a spot in my collection over the 2006 Classics version.

Jetzt zeigen wir euch die Toy Reviews zu Transformers Prime Deluxe Rumble, Sargent Kup und Voyager Dreadwing von unserem Sponsor Kapow Toys.

Transformers Prime Deluxe Rumble

Wave 5 brings us 2 new characters in the form of Sgt Kup and Rumble. Apart from being blue and having blasters shaped like pile drivers that appears to be where the similarity between Prime Rumble and G1 Rumble finishes and he's all the better for it. Transforming from a quite boring compact car to robot he follows suit with the other Prime deluxe in being a little smaller than we've been used to over the years but it doesn't take away from the fact he is an awesome little figure. He looks the business in robot mode with very little ''kibble'' apart from the two roof halves which sit on his shoulders and in our opinion beef him up, the side panels of the car are cleverly hidden over his shoulder with little rocket launchers molded into the inside giving them a function rather than just having them sit there. His articulation is very good enabling him to strike all kinds of action poses with the only area being a little restricted the shoulders, this is down to the rocket launcher panels tilting forward but its not the end of the world and doesn't do enough to take away from what is a very original and very nice figure.

Overall we score Rumble 9/10 another great entry in whats shaping up to be the best Transformers line in some time.

Transformers Prime Sgt Kup

Ever since Generations Kup has been a Sgt, enjoying his promotion he now decides he must also look like Ironhide which hasn't gone too well with Ironhides agents or Mrs Kup. I'm going to point out the faults first which are the big hinge / bonnet that hangs over his upper back in robot mode and the fact the cannons can be loose when plugged into the forearms, apart from that this guy is fantastic! packed full of articulation his proportions make him not only look great but also capable of an array of poses. There is no doubting he could have done with a remolded head as Kup but just imagine how cool this figure is going to be in red??? Truck mode is small but perfectly formed, the transformation is easy with the only gripe being a gap in the trailer section which you can see through, will kids care about this ? no so its not a problem as far as we can see.

Overall we score Kup 8/10 ( add another point if you prefer him in green )
