Es gibt ein neues Gerücht zu Transformers 5. Diesmal betrifft es Schauspieler, die an Stelle von Mark Wahlberg dabei sein sollen. Die Rede ist von Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson und Bruce Willis. Es ist allerdings als Gerücht zu behandeln, denn wenn man bedenkt, was die beiden sonst für Filme drehen, könnte das für Transformers bedeuten, das wir sehr viel Kampf bekommen, um nicht zu sagen: Das gibt Gemetzel.

In a recent interview with "Transformers: Age of Extinction" producers Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce, Bonaventura wasn't shy about talking about any possibility that there could be a crossover between the "G.I. Joe" and "Transformers" franchises, both owned by Paramount.

"I don't think they run out of stories yet. I think later on that's a possibility but I don't think in the near future at all. It's not something we talked about either. You know, there's a lot more story to be told in both cases," Bonaventura told Games Radar.

He added: "I think if in some moment we all think, 'You know what, it's time to bring the two of them together' then we'll do that, but I think they're strong enough to exist on their own."

We agree, but it would be pretty cool to see Willis and The Rock together again and helping Optimus Prime and the Transformers beat some Decepticons.

Besides, it looks like Paramount needs a replacement for Mark Wahlberg.

Back in September, reports were saying that Wahlberg decided not to reprise his role in the next installment, even though he really kicked butt in "Age of Extinction" and created more "Tranformers" fans now that Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf are not involved anymore.

So if it's true that Wahlberg is not returning, The Rock and Willis could replace him and be the next action duo to be more involved with the Autobots vs. Decepticons war that's going to be very interesting in the next installment.

Jetzt scheint es wohl endgültig zu sein. Michael Bay hat offiziell gekannt gegeben, das er den 5 Transformers Movie nicht macht. Laut seiner Aussage möchte er nun sein Augenmerk auf das Benghazi Drama mit dem Titel "13 Hours", nach einem Roman von Mitchell Zuckoff, lenken.
Es gab schon so oft diese Ankündigungen von Seiten Michael Bays, also sollten wir abwarten und auf die ersten Kino Plakate warten.

Bei einem Interview von Cinema Blend sagt Peter Cullen das er gern Michael Bay als Director für Transformers 5 wieder sehen möchte:

"I have a great deal of respect for him. He generates a great deal of excitement and energy. He's really a hands-on director. My son is a stunt man and worked in Chicago doing a lot of the driving sequences...he said he's a very, very diligent, hands-on guy. He creates a great deal of energy and puts everybody on their toes. I would certainly miss him. I think he's brilliant, his mind is unbelievable. "

"Michael if you're [reading] this, I certainly hope you are coming back."

"It would be very difficult me to express any of the future on Transformers, but certainly the excitement that it's generated of where it could possibly go is up to anybody to figure out. I don't have access to any of that information."

Though Transformers: Age of Extinction did not exactly meet up to critics' expectations with reasons of a poor, weak plot, excessive visual effects and very bad characters, rumors have been spreading that the Transformers 5 release date has been set for a 2016 premiere. This will be in time for the 30th anniversary since the first Transformer movie came out to the big screen. However, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, producer of the franchise, seems to say otherwise.

On the other hand, director Michael Bay did share his plans for Transformers 5 and that would involve a broad exploration of the Autobots and the Decepticons, a far cry from the action and conspiracy themes the current movies has portrayed. The Transformers 5 movie will also serve as the second movie of Cade Yeager's trilogy, which was played by Mark Wahlberg. The first Transformers movie trilogy had Sam Witwicky, played by Shia LaBeouf, as the main character.

New characters will surely be added to the Transformers 5 movie such as Rodimus Prime, Vector Prime and Unicron. Judging by the names, it would seem that the upcoming movie will be focusing on the Unicron, who is by the way the evil twin brother of Optimus Prime, saga and the origins of our favorite vehicle transforming robots.

Speaking of characters, there have been several rumors that have made their way into the Transformers 5 movie waves and that would include the return of several characters. Yes, it would seem that Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox may be reprising their roles in the future.

As of the moment there is still no final Transformers 5 release date."

So wie jetzt in einem Interview bekannt wurde, möchte Michael Bay für den nächsten Transformers Movie einen neuen Director haben. USA Today schreibt:

Bay is delving further into TV with both Last Ship and Starz's Black Sails, which kicked off in January and has filmed its second season. The hands-on producer keeps track of multiple projects from his high-tech screening room in.
"Literally, it looks like NASA mission control,'' he says. "I am always loaded with what's going on. I like to keep my eyes on everything."
The Bay streak continues with the horror film Ouija (out Oct. 24)and sci-fi thriller Project Almanac (Jan. 30, 2015), both of which he produced, and he's working on another undisclosed TV project. Bay, 49, believes he will pass the baton for future Transformer movies to a new director while he turns his focus elsewhere.
"There's kind of a new chapter, a new direction in movies I want to make," says Bay, who is eyeing a passion project, a documentary on elephant poaching. "I have a lot of stories to tell. And it's about flexing new muscles."
