Jetzt können wir euch das neue Update vom Transformers Forged To Fight Mobile Game zeigen. Es ist für das aktuelle Jahr mit dem Titel: “2022 Roadmap: Expanding the Fight!”.

More Bots!
In the next Timeslide, Commanders will find Dirge was guarding a recently uncovered natural Spacebridge against the clutches of Necrotronus! Once activated, this Spacebridge will open gates to worlds unseen, bringing new friends and foes to New Quintessa!
Commanders can look forward to more new Bots coming their way this year, starting with 2 new Bots in v9.0 coming later this month! One of these Bots has been hiding in plain sight, while the other is our take on a Generations classic.
Don’t hold on to those Bot Chips or Titan Fragments though! These new Bots will be available in Crystals and other offers before being added to any other method of acquisition.
These new Bots will not be released right away, and come with a new content schedule of events and Missions themed around them.

New Content Schedule
Each new Bot will have a 5-week event dedicated to them. These events will include:
2 Timeslide length Missions called “Bot Incursions”
Objectives
Login Rewards
4 Featured Bots available for Bot Chips
Showcases for the featured bots and the new arrival
Alliance Events
This new schedule will be replacing our current monthly content schedule. During this time, our goal is to really make the Game feel like it’s dedicated to the New Bot.

Off-Cycle Events
There won’t always be back-to-back Bot releases, and during those downtimes, we’ll be running special off-cycle events, focussing on other Bots, factions and teams on New Quintessa, such as Beast Wars or Decepticon events!

More Content Update Priorities
Throughout the year, we also want to take some time to focus on updating some other kinds of content and modes. We don’t have details to share on these at the moment, but would like to give you a glimpse at some of the priorities we are working on:
Sharkticon Week Revamp: We’ve revamped this fan-favourite event, and you can look forward to it coming soon!
Quest Content Update: We want to work on new Buffs and Map layouts to give players more variety in-game, as well as taking another look at Prime Difficulty as more Commanders have access to Rank 6 Bots.
Alliance Mission Update: We want to adjust the Alliance Mission Map to be shorter, so that we can regularly mix up the Bots alliances will be facing off against, and reinvigorate the challenge in one of our most popular game modes.

This all starts soon!
Get ready Commanders, because all of this kicks off this month! You’ll find out the first new Bots heading your way when v9.0 releases on Feb 8th, and have your chance to snag one of them before the end of the month! These won’t be the last new Bots you see this year either, so look forward to even more additions to the Fight throughout 2022!

Very Very Spaceship is leading game development and TOMY is Niantic’s partner in Japan

Niantic, Hasbro and TOMY Company are teaming up to publish “TRANSFORMERS: Heavy Metal,” an AR game that brings Optimus Prime and Bumblebee to life in the real world through the Niantic Lightship platform.

“Transformers is the perfect franchise for AR. Battling and interacting with giant robots in the real world is an amazing experience,” said John Hanke, CEO of Niantic. “We want to live up to the high expectations of Transformers fans around the world and bring them a game unlike anything they’ve played before.”

In “TRANSFORMERS: Heavy Metal,” players will join the Guardian Network, a group of humans who have banded together with the Autobots in a war against the Decepticons. As a Guardian, players will uncover hidden regions across Earth to find resources and battle Decepticons in turn-based battles, either solo or with friends.

With a planned global launch later this year, “TRANSFORMERS: Heavy Metal,” will enter soft launch in select markets soon. TOMY is Niantic’s partner for the release in Japan, and Seattle-based Very Very Spaceship is leading development of the game.

Lightship is Niantic’s planet-scale AR platform that sets the standard for AR, realtime 3D mapping and multiplayer social experiences. With Niantic Lightship ARDK, developers can build their own AR worlds and experiences using tools that leverage location, environmental context and shared multiplayer views.

Es soll ein neues Transformers Online Game auf den Markt kommen, was wohl schon länger in Planung ist. Eigentlich sollte es in einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen Hasbro und Leyou auf den Markt kommen, aber da gab es wohl Komplikationen. Nun sind aber neue Informationen zu dem Spiel aufgetaucht:

Zum Zeitpunkt der Lizenzvereinbarung zwischen Hasbro und Leyou, in den Dokumenten datiert auf August 2017, hieß das Transformers Online-Spiel, das von der Unreal Engine 4 angetrieben wird, Transformers: Impact und zielte offen darauf ab, das Beste aus Destiny und Warframe zu kombinieren. Dabei ging es um Design-Entscheidungen rund um Spieler-Hubs, kooperatives PvE, Live-Service-Modelle und das Freischalten von Waffen sowie Rüstungen.

Aus den Dokumenten geht sogar eine einleitende Beschreibung der Haupthandlung hervor:

So soll das Spiel „viele Jahre in der Zukunft stattfinden und die Aegis, eine massive Alien-Superwaffe, soll erscheinen. Die Autobots und Decepticons kämpfen erbittert um deren Herrschaft. Die finale Schlacht endet in einer gewaltigen Explosion, die beide Seiten stark dezimiert und die Aegis in tausend Teile sprengt. Diese Scherben fallen mit einer verheerenden Auswirkung auf die Erde und hinterlassen nichts außer Verderben.“

„Nun, da das Schicksal der Menschheit und der Transformers gleichermaßen bedroht ist, müssen sich die Autobots und Decepticons zusammenschließen und ums Überleben gegen die Korruption kämpfen, die von den Scherben der Aegis ausgeht.“

Ob das Spiel nun erscheint oder nicht, bleibt ab zuwarten. Wir halten auch auf dem Laufenden.
