Heute feiert der wohl bekannteste Transformers Comic Schreiber "Simon Furman" seinen Geburtstag. Da wünschen wir von NTF-Archive ihm alles liebe und gute und ein Hoch auf ihm! Möge er uns und den vielen Fans noch lange und gesund erhalten bleiben.

CON CALENDAR 2012 – UPDATED

March 22, 2012

Two down (London Super Comic Con & Roll Out, Roll Call 3) and, well, lots more to go! Here’s the latest version of my 2012 convention/signing calendar:

April 27-29th: Botcon 2012, Dallas. I’ll be attending the premier US Transformers convention, where I’m to be inducted into Hasbro’s Transformers Hall of Fame.

May 5th: on Free Comic Book Day, I’ll be signing at Orbital Comics, London, along with the rest of the Regeneration One team.

May 19-20th: now in its second year, Mark Millar’s Kapow comicon features over 50 guests, and somewhere among them will be me.

July 22nd: C.O.N.S., the German Transformers convention has invited me back for a second year. Come along and see ace rock band Rampage!

Aug 3-5th: the UK’s flagship Transformers convention, Auto Assembly, at which I’m a bit of a fixture and fitting these days. Now in a great new location.

Sept 2nd: Nor-Con, a great little sci-fi and comic convention in Norwich. Me, Barry Kitson, a couple of Doctor Whos, and many more.

Nov TBC: Auto Assembly Europe moves across Sweden from Uppsala to Malmo, and it’s taking me with it.

So is that it for 2012? Probably not. Keep watching for more calendar updates soon!

Das Transformers Comic Regeneration One #80.5 wird am Free Comic Book Day veröffentlicht und wer sich am 5. Mai in London aufhält, der sollte einen Abstecher in den Comic Laden "Orbital Comcs" machen. Denn dort werden die Macher, Simon Furman, Andrew Wildman, Stephen Baskerville und John-Paul Bove, von Regeneration One #80.5 sein und jedem ein unterzeichnetes Exemplar überreichen. Andrew Wildman gibt weiter bekannt, das das Heft Nummer 81 im Juli erscheint.

Simon Furman bittet auf seinem Blog um eure Mithilfe. Ihm sind zwei Stücke aus seiner Sammlung abhanden gekommen. Was ihm genau fehlt sind zwei Comic Arts. Hier aber sein genauer Blog Eintrag:

I need your help. At some point between last year’s Roll Out, Roll Call and this year’s, two pieces of original Transformers comic art I supplied for display ‘went missing’. The items in question are the final page of Transformers UK #78 (Target: 2006 prologue), by Jeff Anderson, and page 2 (the title page) of 1985 Annual story, ‘And There Shall Come A Leader’, by John Stokes. See below for images, but bear in mind the missing pages are the black & white line originals on artboard (at larger than printed scale). These pages were kindly given me by the artists in question, and are quite simply irreplaceable. So, could I ask all transfans to be vigilant. If you see or have seen these items for sale, or know who has them, please contact me via the Wildfur website (& the contact email thereon). All information will be treated in strict confidence and I’m offering a reward of rare/signed Transformers goodies to anyone with information leading directly to their recovery. Thank you.
