Gestern haben wir euch mitgeteilt, das die neue Transformers Serie 2015 heraus kommen soll. Dazu haben wir euch ein Bild von Bumblebee gezeigt. Heute müssen wir euch sagen, das das Bild des Charakters nicht dem entspricht, wie er dann in der Serie dann aussehen wird.

But I just feel the need to say that with our new show being announced the artwork shown on various sites is NOT a good representation of what the designs look like fully fleshed out. The new show looks amazing and I’m having a ton of fun working on it and I hope everyone watches when it comes out."

Wie jetzt bekannt wurde, wird die neue Transformers Serie erst im Jahr 2015 kommen. Sie soll Jahre nach Transformers Prime spielen und Bumblebee soll der Anführer einer neuen Autbotgruppe werden.

The Hub Network, champions of family fun and the only network dedicated to providing kids and their families entertainment they can watch together, announced today that a new animated series is currently in production for the globally renowned TRANSFORMERS brand. Set to debut in early 2015, the new action-packed series is being produced by Hasbro Studios, the production and distribution division of Hasbro, Inc., and is executive produced by Jeff Kline (“Transformers Prime,” “G.I. Joe Renegades”).

Taking place years after the battle between Autobots and Decepticons in “Transformers Prime,” this all new series centers around our hero Bumblebee stepping up to lead a brand new team of Autobots. The show features an all-star cast with Will Friedle (“Boy Meets World”) returning as Bumblebee, along with Darren Criss (“Glee”), Constance Zimmer (“House of Cards”) and Ted McGinley (“Married with Children”). Blending 3D characters with hand-painted environments, the series mixes action-packed adventure with lots of comedy, making it a rip-roaring experience for kids and families to enjoy together.

This is a big year as the TRANSFORMERS brand celebrates its 30th anniversary. The Hub Network will also be celebrating the success of the franchise with special events to be announced later this year.

What’s the process like of creating brand new characters in the Transformers Universe? Is there a difficult approval process with Hasbro on that sort of stuff?
Hasbro have been fantastic partners to work with on Transformers Universe. Collaborating with the team there we’ve bought our collective experiences together, combining artists, game designers and the deepest knowledge on the world of Transformers to create a great selection of Autobots and Decepticons for you to command in battle. We’ve even surprised the Hasbro guys by bringing back some seriously obscure transformers from the depths of Cybertronian time.

Obviously the game had a bit of radio silence in 2013. Were you waiting for the new Transformers movie to help you capture a bit more of that potential casual crowd?
2013 was a big year for the game. We made some major decisions during that time to ensure that we could bring the best possible product to market. We chose to maintain a silence as we knuckled down and focused on engineering a game for the long term. With a desire to bring more fluidity to play whilst maintaining our ultra-secure platform and client-server technology we opted to integrate third-party middleware with multi-platform capabilities into the way we make games at Jagex. We’re building a game service to run for the next decade, and whilst we love the movies it's not something to base the launch of our game around.

Autobot Front-Line

Megatron seeks a quick victory as the Decepticons breach the Autobot city of Iacon. The invasion seems to be leading to total domination until Metroplex, a city-sized behemoth, emerges from beneath the surface to defend Iacon or die trying.
