Von Prime 1 Studio kommt jetzt eine neuer Optimus Prime. Er hat die Bezeichnung NB-1 Superior und ist eine Mischung aus G1 und dem Real Movie Design.

In conjunction with the release of the new trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight, we are proud to reveal the teaser for Superior Optimus Prime, designed by the 'human Primus', Josh Nizzi.

The Superior Optimus Prime is the first in a new line of Transformers collectibles designed by Josh.

The New Generation is an amalgamation of both classic G1 and movie design giving you one of the coolest, most detailed and most unique Transformers Collectibles.

The NG Optimus Prime will look great displayed with Prime1's G1 and movie Optimus as it shows the different look for this iconic character.

Von den Boulder Media Studios soll jetzt eine neue Transformers Serie heraus kommen. Dazu haben wir hier die Pressemitteilung:

DUBLIN and PAWTUCKET, R.I. – Boulder Media, which was acquired in 2016 by Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS), is adding several new animation positions to its operations in Dublin. To house the expanded team, Boulder Media will be relocating to a larger studio space in the summer.

The Studio, which currently employs a crew of 160, is ramping up its hiring significantly to support its growing production pipeline. Boulder Media is currently recruiting for positions in conceptual design, 2D and 3D animation, as well as animated CG feature film.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled about the opportunities we can offer our crew,” said Robert Cullen, creative director, Boulder Media. “We’re bringing to life some of the world’s most famous and popular brands here in Dublin. It’s unique and very special both for our studio and the local industry.”

The Studio’s expansion will support a growing slate of entertainment around Hasbro brands such as TRANSFORMERS, LITTLEST PET SHOP and MICRONAUTS, as well as animated series on behalf of third-party clients.

“At Hasbro, we are very fortunate to have an extraordinarily robust brand portfolio, and we’re excited to be working with the team at Boulder to bring our brands to life through storytelling for more audiences through more platforms than ever before,” said Stephen Davis, executive vice president and chief content officer, Hasbro, Inc. “As we build our storytelling capabilities across TV, film, digital and social media, we’re looking to add talented, passionate, perpetually curious crew to our award-winning team of animators.”

Der Cartoonist R. Sikoryak arbeitet seit einiger Zeit an einem Webcomic, welches eine Hommage an Transformer sist. Jetzt soll dieses Webcomic über den Kanadischen Verleger "Drawn & Quarterly" veröffentlicht werden. Und das es sich um Weiterführungen aus den alten Marvel Transformers Comics handelt, lasen es sich Simon Furman und Andrew Wildman nicht nehmen, an dem Projekt mit zu wirken. Eine Seite in dem neuen Heft wird von ihnen sein.

Master satirist tackles the contract everyone agrees to but no one reads

For his newest project, R. Sikoryak tackles the monstrously and infamously dense legal document, iTunes Terms and Conditions, the contract everyone agrees to but no one reads. In a word for word 94-page adaptation, Sikoryak hilariously turns the agreement on its head – each page features an avatar of Apple cofounder and legendary visionary Steve Jobs juxtaposed with a different classic strip such as Mort Walker’s Beatle Bailey, or a contemporary graphic novel such as Craig Thompson’s Blankets or Marjane Satrapi’s Persepolis.

Adapting the legalese of the iTunes Terms and Conditions into another medium seems like an unfathomable undertaking, yet Sikoryak creates a surprisingly readable document, far different from its original, purely textual incarnation and thus proving the accessibility and flexibility of comics. When Sikoryak parodies Kate Beaton’s Hark A Vagrant peasant comics with Steve Jobs discussing objectionable material or Homer Simpson as Steve Jobs warning of the penalties of copyright infringement, Terms and Conditions serves as a surreal record of our modern digital age where technology competes with enduringly ironclad mediums.
