Wir haben hier die Information, das ein Transformers Generations 2013 Buch heraus kommt. Leider haben wir noch sehr wenig Details dazu, außer das auf dem Cover der Fall of Cybertron Deluxe Optimus Prime (Takara's TG-01 Version) abgebildet ist. Das Buch soll im A4 Format kommen und es hat 120 Seiten. Wir werden euch weiter auf dem Laufenden halten.

Hasbro plant zusammen mit Bite Global eine England Tour in einem Optimus Prime Truck. Diese dient dazu um die Serie und die Figuren zu promoten. Hier haben wir die Presseinformation dazu:

Based on the third season of the Emmy Award-winning animated series TRANSFORMERS PRIME, TRANSFORMERS PRIME BEAST HUNTERS, the AUTOBOTS face off against both the DECEPTICONS and an unprecedented new foe: the dragon-like PREDACONS, led by the spectacular PREDAKING character! Hasbro’s 2013 TRANSFORMERS PRIME product line will be based on the new BEAST HUNTERS story and will feature many of the new PREDACON characters as well as new designs for favourite characters like OPTIMUS PRIME, BUMBLEBEE and more.

Wir haben hier 5 Seiten aus dem IDW Comic Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters Heft 2, zu denen Mairghread Scott seine Kommentare gegeben hat.

PAGE 1: What's your approach to Kickback in this series? How do you make him different from other versions of the character?
MAIRGHREAD SCOTT: I wanted to preserve the voice Kickback had in the FALL OF CYBERTRON videogame. It was a really distinctive speech pattern and a lot of fun to write. Beyond that, I just wanted to make him wheedle-y enough to be a fun Decepticon, but responsible enough to be a believable leader.

PAGE 2: With so many fights in Transformers, how do you try and make each one a little bit different? Is it a big challenge?
MAIRGHREAD SCOTT: “Who is in the fight” and “where are they,” are the most important aspects of a unique fight scene. Can someone fly? Are there narrow places in the room to hide? Also, not everyone approaches a fight the same way. I think Kickback is happy to let others soften the Dinos up for him while he uses his speed to finish them off. Someone like Grimlock would never fight that way. Whenever I get stuck writing a fight scene I go back to those questions: who and where.

PAGE 3: What’s driving Sludge this time, after events in RAGE OF THE DINOBOTS and the FALL OF CYBERTRON comics? How has he changed as a character?
MAIRGHREAD SCOTT: In “Rage” Sludge was the ’bot with no problems, which is odd ’cause he was left to die, twice. You don’t just “not mind” something like that. So in this story, I wanted Sludge to actually face his past and move beyond it. This fight is the tipping point for Sludge to do just that.

PAGE 4: If you could pick a new alt mode for Sludge, what other Dinosaur would you pick?
MAIRGHREAD SCOTT: An Ankylosaurus. Sludge is a more defensive-minded fighter than the average Dinobot and I’d have his tail turn into a hammer in ’bot mode. It’s always fun to have design elements multi-task like that.

PAGE 5: If we go back in time and give Sludge the same choices, do you think he would still become a Dinobot or choose to go a completely different route?
MAIRGHREAD SCOTT: Well none of the Dinobots had a choice in the matter. I know that Sludge would never have left his friends to go into a fight without him, but given the choice I don’t think that Sludge would have become a Dinobot. In fact, if it weren’t for the caste system and the war, I don’t know that he’d have become a soldier at all.

Auf der C.O.N.S. V gibt es einige Contests, bei denen ihr tolle Preise gewinnen könnt. Heute möchten wir euch noch einmal einladen, am Custom Contest, am Fan Art Contest, am Cosplay Contest und/oder am Kitbash Contest teil zunehmen. Für den Custom Contest und der Fan Art Contest wird ausreichend Stellfläche zur Verfügung gestellt und das Publikum, also die Besucher der C.O.N.S. werden via Abstimmzettel entscheiden, welches Werk am besten ist. Die Cosplayer werden in diesem Jahr in einer Art "Modenschau" vorgestellt. Dafür werdet ihr beim eintreffen von unserem Moderator interviewt und später auf der Bühne präsentiert. Die Kitbasher unter euch können an einem langen Tisch auf der Bühne Platz nehmen und dort live vor Ort euer Kitbash herstellen. Welches hier am besten ist, entscheidet nach Ablauf der Zeit eine Jury. Wir haben aber auch noch etwas für alle die, die nicht so begabt sind, aber trotzdem etwas gewinnen möchten. Wir haben ein Transformers Quiz, welches jeder Besucher an der Kasse bekommt. Die Fragen auf dem Zettel müssen beantwortet werden und der Zettel sollte dann rechtzeitig wieder an der Kasse abgegeben werden. Wer hier am meisten richtig hat, der gewinnt.
Wir hoffen, das euch die Contests gefallen und hoffen auf eine rege Teilnahme.

Außerdem sehen wir das Entwickler Team, wie sie in einer Brainstorming Session über Ginrai, Star Saber und Lio Convoy sprechen. Wir nehmen an, das sie Vorbereitungen für die Tokyo Toy Show treffen, denn dort sollen die Figuren offiziell gezeigt werden.
