The new female lead that they are looking for is a high school senior and her boyfriend a Texas racing driver.
Übersetzt: Die weibliche Hauptrolle soll eine High School Schülerin im letzten Schuljahr (Senior) sein und ihr Freund ein Texanischer Rennfahrer.

Außerdem aus der Gerüchteküche: Peter Cullen wurde wohl noch nicht angesprochen, dass er als Optimus Prime zurückkehrt, obwohl das von Michael Bay ja bereits angekündigt wurde. Hugo Weaving (Megatron) hat ebenfalls noch keinen Anruf bekommen, wobei er selbst sagt, dass er auch wenig Lust hat für die Rolle wiederzukommen.

Jetzt spricht auch Michaerl Bay noch einmal über Transformers 4. Diesmal meint er: "What I can say is that it's going to pick up where the other three left off," said Bay of the film, which will predominantly feature new actors from its predecessors. "It's going to feel very different. It's going to definitely open the franchise up for many more to come, and it's going to have a freshness to it."

“I don’t know… me and Michael Bay, we’ve been exchanging e-mails… I mean Text Messages and I just hope that it works out… I mean things fell apart with Megan Fox and so we had to do what we had to do to pick up the pieces and keep moving with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. And now things fell apart with Shia. Business is business I think. I think Shia has expressed his opinion. I think when you are associated with movie like Transformers other than the box-office sees you as an actor... a full-on actor, lot of people arguably can say they don’t take you serious… in this town called “Hollywood”... because the reason all these doing big is because of the robots, the big action and special effects and so in some capacity could diminish your value as an actor which you bring to the table. Even though it’s huge for your brand and your image and your celebrity around the world. But Shia is one of those real actors full-on real actors... whether gets an independent role where he just get paid Per diem or at some role he’s just passionate about and that he may do for free. As long as he gets associated with these heavy-weight actors… that’s the space he’s been. But for me I started this s*** with Shia, Josh, Michael Bay and the Team and sometimes you lose a team member. In my mind not be in a part with Transformers 4… if that’s even happening… it f**** me up. I’ll be honest… I love it. It was the childhood, movie, favorite of mine… you know I don’t really not wanna be a part of the franchise. Period. You know when you lose a team member sometimes you gotta keep going. Period.”

Why do you want to do it? I was under the impression that you were done after "Transformers 3"?
I thought I was done. Then the ride came out [at Universal Studios Hollywood] and the two-and-a-half-hour lines. And then you're thinking, Oh my God, someone's going to take this over. And you start doing a lot of soul-searching. Like, OK, I'm about to do a little movie, "Pain & Gain" ... and the studio says they want to restart the franchise. And someone could come in here and screw it up, you know? So I'm thinking that if I do this last one, we set it on a new footing, we change a lot of things -- but we keep the history of the three in place. But we broaden it so it can be set up and be carried on -- it would have a better chance for survival, I guess. You know?

So with the plot of "Transformers 4," it's not like the other three movies didn't happen? It's not a reboot?
No. We're basically taking from the history of where it was -- or where we left it in Chicago. And we're going to carry it on from there.

I spoke to Peter Cullen at Comic Con earlier this year. He said he doesn't know if he's going to be back as the voice of Optimus Prime or not. He'll be back, right?

“The editing process is a bit slower on [Pain & Gain] because I'm in the middle of launching my three TV shows and prepping Transformers 4–which is going in a total new direction and in a way to really broaden the franchise to give it lasting legs.”

Wir haben soeben ein Bild gefunden, welches das angebliche Poster zum 4. Transformers Movie darstellen soll. Mit der Aufschrift "Evil will Burn" steht Optimus Prime im Vordergrund und wird von Feuerfunken umgeben. Auch geht aus dem Bild hervor, das der Movie 2014 kommen soll. Wir halten das Bild für einen Fake. Man sollte es nicht zu ernst nehmen.

Die Transformers Real Movies werden immer von einem fantastischen Score untermalt und nun da wir wissen, das es einen 4. Movie geben wird, ist es doch auch interessant zu wissen, das kein geringerer als Steve Jablonsky an diesem 4. Transformers Movie arbeitet. Dies kann man auf seiner Webseite nachlesen. Dort steht unter Aktuellen Projekten "Transformers 4".

Bleibt abzuwarten, wer von den "Alten Hasen" auch am 4. Movie beteiligt ist.

In der LATimes wurde heute ein Artikel veröffentlicht, in der es einige Informationen zum 4. Transformers Movie gibt. So hat Michael Bay gesagt, das dieser Transformers Movie sein letzter sein wird. Außerdem wurde gesagt, das die Roboter neu gestaltet werden sollen, und das auch in den Stimmen. Zugegeben Michael Bay hat es schon bei Dark of the Moon gesagt, das es sein letzter TF Movie sein soll, jetzt sagt er aber, das er Platz für einen anderen machen will. Lassen wir uns überraschen.
