Jetzt wurde ein Artikel auf vulture.com veröffentlicht, das Transformers 4 wahrscheinlich auch in China produziert werden soll. Angeblich soll es eine Koproduktion zwischen der Michael Bay Produktionskompanie und der chinesischen Produktionsfirma werden. Allerdings sagt Paramount wörtlich dazu: "the script is still being written" und "it is not a Chinese co-production". Warten wir also ab.

Transformers 4 soll ja unter anderem in London gedreht werden. Heute wird ein weiterer Drehort bekannt. In Bangkok, Thailand wird gerade verhandelt, das man dort auch drehen kann.

Die Hollywood Reporter haben einen Artikel online gestellt, indem bekannt gegeben wird, wen Michael Bay für die männlichen und weiblichen Rollen für Transformers 4 testet. Mark Wahlberg steht schon fest als männliche Hauptrolle, aber wer soll die weibliche Hauptrolle sein? Die Kandidaten sind: Isabelle Cornish und Nicola Peltz. Für die männlichen Rollen stehen Luke Grimes, Landon Liboiron, Brenton Thwaites, Jack Reynor und Hunter Parrish zur Debatte. Wir halten euch auf den Laufenden.

Auf TFW2005 haben wir ein interessantes Interview mit michael Bay gefunden, indem er über den Plot zu Transformers 4 spricht. Außerdem gibt er ein Statement ab, was Mark Wahlberg und Shia angeht. Mark bringt ein neue Art mit, eine " Leckt mich am A**** ihr Roboter" Art, die gut in das Konzept passt. Si sagt es Brian Truitt. Michael sagt auch, das der 4. Movie vier Jahre nach dem letzten Real Movie beginnt. Also vier Jahre nach dem Angriff in Chicago geht es weiter. Was noch alles besprochen wurde, hat TfW2005 sehr gut zusammen gefasst:

TMZ: So big huge news in Hollywood today. The Transformers Franchise will go on and instead of Shia Labeouf, they have landed Mark Wahlberg for the lead role in this. Which is just awesome… everybody loves Wahlberg. Perfect fit for this. And what was real interesting about this… we were talking about this in the news room, and we remember Shia Labeouf came out and said some things about the franchise that he felt like he didn’t have enough creative freedom in this. Well, now you are… gone. And Mark Wahlber is in this. It feels like Director Michael Bay really won that one. And what’s really great is we were able to get Michael Bay on the phone to talk to us about this today. Michael How you doing?
Michael: Hey guys, how are you?

TMZ: Not as good as you. We don’t have Mark Wahlberg. Can you send him over to host our show one day, when Harvey’s gone?
Michael: He’s a fun guy. Just finished working with him on Pain & Gain, a crime story that we finish in Miami.

TMZ: So tell us, how did this deal get put together and how did you score Wahlberg for the Transformers Franchise?
Michael: I don’t know… just something we thought about a bit. You saw the whole Internet Rumor that he was on. And that wasn’t really true. And we were in the inception part of the story. And just talking with Stephen Spielberg. And that was a great way to really take this franchise in a different direction. We’re doing a lot of things that are going to really make it feel fresh and new. And he’s an actor, he has accomplished, he’s an Academy Award Nominee and I love working with him and he’s got a great sense of comedy and great pathos. He’s a guy who can handle great action. And he never had a huge franchise. So this is something that really appealed to him. He said “I really want to show a movie to my kids”. You know? It kinds happened.

TMZ: So Michael, let’s talk about the fact that… you know.. you had couple of your Transformers Stars… you know… have some not-so-kind-things to say.
Michael: Listen guys, you got to understand, fame is very hard on young people. It’s… I kin of helped raise Shia for three movies. And it’s… it’s really tough. Fame is a very rough thing. And you know Shia LaBeouf is a great, great guy. He’s a great actor. And I have nothing but respect for him.

TMZ: Did you take offense or did it hurt when he said…
Michael: No, No.

TMZ: …His comment about not enough creativity doing these big blockbusters?
Michael: What he’s saying is he wants to be taken seriously. And sometimes when you’re in a blockbuster, people don’t take you seriously. You know? I think that’s what he’s really saying. He’s going through more of a smaller role.

TMZ: He’s in his Art House Stage now.
Michael: You know… listen… he’s only 26.

TMZ: So he will be back?
Michael: He will be back.

TMZ: So, any early idea of what the story is going to be on Transformers and how Mark He’s not taking over Shia’s role?
Michael: No no. The movie will continue four years from the Attack on Chicago; which is in the last movie. So it’s going to still have the sane lineage. And it’s going a full new direction and feels very natural how it’s going in that direction, there is no way you’re going to ever find out what the story because you don’t have to dig through my trash but I shredded my trash…

TMZ: [Laughing]
Michael:..Pentagon level encryption on our computers. So good luck to ya!

TMZ: We’ll.. we’ll wait till you come out and tell us. Byt the way, just a suggestion you know I’m not a director or anything but we are showing some shots of mark from the set of Pain & Gain may be you wanna have his shirt off in Transformers too.
Michael: I think that’s “Baby Fat” He ate so much… he ate seven meals a day.

TMZ: You gotta see his gym. He’s unbelievably huge. There’s a reason for that… he works out more than us.
Michael: Exactly, exactly. You know he actually lost 30 pounds for the next movie which is three weeks after Pain and Gain. Which is crazy.

TmZ: Were you working out with him in the gym? Obviously he was working out… everybody was working out. You were surrounded by really huge guys in this film.
Michael: Dwayne was someone who rubs body oil on him all day.

TMZ: [Laughing]
Michael: He gets wet with Baby Oil.

Look at him. There’s a shot of you standing next to him. He looks huge and you got to boss that guy around.
Michael: Yeah. I’m not intimidate by those guys. Trust me.

TMZ: So when do we expect [Transformers 4]? 2014?
Michael: Yeah, July 4th 2014.

TMZ: You already knows it’s July 4th, 2014?
Michael: Yeah… come-on?

Jetzt ist es soweit, der neue TF Film hat nicht nur ein Logo (siehe links), sondern auch einen (Haupt?)-Darsteller, nämlich "Marky" Mark Wahlberg, u.a. bekannt aus "Ted". Hier die Pressemitteilung:

HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 8, 2012) – After an exceptionally successful collaboration on the upcoming “Pain and Gain,” Michael Bay has cast Academy Award®-nominee Mark Wahlberg in the highly anticipated “TRANSFORMERS 4.” The film will hit theaters June 27th, 2014.

“Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on “Pain and Gain” and I’m so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers’ legacy,” said Bay. Bay will direct the next installment in the “TRANSFORMERS” series, which begins shooting next spring. From Paramount Pictures, a division of Viacom, Inc., in association with Hasbro, the film will be produced by Don Murphy & Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce, and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Bay, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian.

Ob Wahlberg die Hauptrolle spielt, der gemunkelte Rennwagen-Freund der weiblichen Hauptrolle ist oder vielleicht auch den Part eines NEST Soldaten übernimmt ist offen. Es darf spekuliert werden.

Comingsoon.net hat einen Artikel veröffentlicht, in dem Mark Wahlberg, bekannt aus Ted, The Happening und The Other Guys, darüber spricht, das er eventuell in Transformers 4 mitwirken will. Er hat wohl mit Michael Bay darüber gesprochen. Allerdings gibt zur selben Zeit Michael Bay auf seiner Seite bekannt, das es nur ein Gerücht sei, er hätte über ein anderes Projekt mit Wahlberg gesprochen. Was ist nun dran an dem Gerücht? Denn wenn man weiter liest, das Wahlberg den Stan Bush 1986 Transformers Movie Song "You Got The Touch" 1997 in Boogie Nights gesungen hat. Lassen wir uns überraschen.

Wie wir euch berichtet haben, hat ja Hugo Weaving darüber gesprochen, das er noch keinen Anruf bezüglich der Synchronstimme von Megatron im Transformers 4 Movie bekommen hat. Nun gibt Michael Bay sein Statement dazu ab:

"Do you ever get sick of actors that make $15 million a picture, or even $200,000 for voiceover work that took a brisk one hour and 43 minutes to complete, and then complain about their jobs? With all the problems facing our world today, do these grumbling thespians really think people reading the news actually care about trivial complaints that their job wasn’t ‘artistic enough” or “fulfilling enough”? I guess The Hollywood Reporter thinks so.

What happened to people who had integrity, who did a job, got paid for their hard work, and just smiled afterward? Be happy you even have a job – let alone a job that pays you more than 98% of the people in America.

I have a wonderful idea for all those whiners: They can give their “unhappy job money” to a wonderful Elephant Rescue. It’s the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Africa. I will match the funds they donate."

Es könnte nun ein Drama ähnlich dem wie bei Megan Fox geben und es könnte bedeuten, das wir am Ende ohne Megatron oder Galvatron da stehen? Oder es bedeutet, das Megatron eine andere Stimme bekommt??? Wir halten euch auf dem Laufenden.

Auf der Seite ComingSoon.net wurde das neue Transformers 4 Logo beschrieben. So soll es ein halbes Transformers Logo sein, die rechte Seite davon. Auf der linken würde dann eine 4 erkennbar sein. Leider haben wir dazu noch kein Bild, aber wir halten euch auf dem Laufenden.
