After acquiring the U.S. rights to Hasbro Studios’ newest “Transformers” series, “Robots in Disguise,” the cable channel will now also air the series in most major foreign territories, as well.
In an expansion of its initial deal, Cartoon Network will air “Transformers: Robots in Disguise” on the company’s channels in Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East this year.
“We are thrilled to have expanded our ongoing international relationship with Cartoon Network, freeing them to unleash our Transformers characters to the entire world starting early this year,” said Hasbro’s chief content officer Stephen Davis. “Fans everywhere will now be able to experience the humor, fun, adventure and cooler, lighter, brighter animated style that our Autobots and Decepticons deliver as we open up the next storytelling chapter in this beloved franchise.”
